About Petra

Hi, my name is Petra and I like to think that I'm one of the most dedicated and committed real estate agents in the nation.

I was born and raised in Bavaria, Germany, I moved to Lakeland, Florida with my two children after my husband received his military transfer to Ft. Benning, GA in 1993.

After my husband Jim’s military retirement in 1995, I began to work as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper managing a portfolio worth over $11 million in Real Estate properties in Fort Worth, TX. After receiving my Real Estate Broker’s license in 1999 I immediately became actively involved in the Florida Real Estate market with international clients servicing the West Coast and Central Florida region and has since been involved in the refinancing and sale of the portfolio in Texas netting for the investors millions of dollars in profits.

I am a member of the Florida Association of REALTORS®, the Lakeland Association of REALTORS® . I am also bilingual, speaking, reading & writing fluent German.

I enjoy the membership of the German-American Club of Lakeland where I currently serve as the Treasurer, and am a great supporter of Education and the Arts. In my spare time I like to go camping with my family and two dogs, and I also love to watch football.

When it comes to my clients, I like to take care of them personally and always try to go the extra mile for them.

My in-depth training includes special real estate courses such as Real Estate Practice, Economics, Financing, Property Management, Legal Aspects, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Investments, Exchanges, Taxation, Title Insurance, and Short Sales where I have written a series of blogs.
